Why can't I have love?" I cried out. "Why can't I feel happy and connected?" I stood near the shiny gold, feeling sad and alone. My heart hurt, and I wanted someone to love me. I reached out, trying to grab the gold, but it slipped away. I felt like I was drowning in my loneliness. "Why can't I have it all?" I whispered. "Why can't I be happy and loved?" The gold seemed to tease me, reminding me of what I didn't have. But I still hoped that one day, I'd find love and be happy.
