You (A love poem)

Your will sets fine people on earth,
as you will,
even when time reaches its heels,
in wait,
it still takes me to your hills.

When You do this,
You show me your bigger sides;
making me wander in the dark,
in the wonder of Your light.
A wed of faith and hope,
because you have made me— love
from love,

to be love,
and give love as I suppose on purpose —
with no cut tongue,
with no trapped feet,
with no cuffed hands,
without bars

This is the beauty of everything
You have sworn—
to give you me
for me
to me me to you.

This is absolutely stunning. The way you weave words together feels so intimate and profound, almost like a whispered prayer or a heartfelt confession. The imagery of being "love from love, to be love, and give love" is so pure and captivating—it feels like an ode to something eternal and unshakable. And those last lines, "to give you me for me, to me me to you," are just beautifully layered with meaning. This is the kind of poem that stays with you long after reading. Thank you for sharing such a deep and heartfelt piece.
