Weeks into construction, citizens say the visible progress of the bridge demonstrates the governor’s commitment to modern, people-centered infrastructure that addresses the daily challenges of traffic congestion and improves business activities.
“The construction of this bridge is a clear sign that Governor Buni is delivering on his promises. Damaturu is transforming before our eyes, and we are proud to witness history being made,” said Shu'aibu, one resident.
Local traders and commuters noted that the bridge project is bringing hope and convenience while also creating opportunities for business expansion and economic development across the city.
