Yobe Residents Commend Gov. Buni’s Visionary Reforms, Describe Health Sector Transformation as a Model for Good Governance

Residents across Yobe State are commending Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, for his administration’s remarkable achievements in transforming the health sector and improving service delivery across the state.
From Damaturu to Potiskum and Gashua, citizens described the ongoing progress in healthcare as a reflection of Governor Buni’s visionary leadership and genuine commitment to the wellbeing of the people.
At the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital, Damaturu, Buji Gana, a resident of the state capital, expressed satisfaction with the recent transformation of the hospital’s emergency ward, describing it as one of the best-equipped facilities in the country.
“A visit to the emergency ward is enough to convince anyone that Governor Buni is truly working,” Gana said. “The center is furnished with modern medical equipment, enjoys uninterrupted electricity, and is maintained according to international standards; this has made health administration in the state more effective and accessible.”
In Potiskum, Alhaji Umar, a resident of Bayan Sabuwar Tasha, lauded the governor for sustaining investment in healthcare facilities and human resources, which he said has brought visible improvement to local hospitals and clinics.
“Governor Buni’s leadership continues to give hope to the people,” Umar stated. “The reforms in the health sector have strengthened confidence in public healthcare and restored trust in government efforts to improve people’s lives.”
Also in Gashua Bade LGA, Alhaji Musa, a resident behind Access Bank, commended the administration’s even distribution of development projects across the state, noting that Governor Buni’s inclusive policies have ensured that no community is left behind.
“From the state capital to the local governments, we can see results,” Musa said. “Health centers are functioning better, facilities are expanding, and more lives are being touched. Governor Buni is clearly setting an example of purposeful leadership.”
Observers have also praised the Buni administration for maintaining consistency in healthcare reforms, describing the Governor’s approach as a model of good governance built on transparency, accountability, and service to humanity.
With continuous investments in healthcare, education, and infrastructure, residents say Governor Mai Mala Buni has repositioned Yobe State as one of the most progressive and people-focused states in the North-East region.
