Yobe APC, Under Gov. Buni’s Leadership, Rallies Total Support for Tinubu’s Second Term

In a powerful demonstration of unity and strategic political alignment, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State, under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni (FCIA, CON, COMN), have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.
The high-level stakeholders’ meeting, presided over by Gov. Buni, brought together the party’s top hierarchy and influential figures across the state, reaffirming Yobe’s position as a stronghold of unity, discipline, and coordinated political direction within the APC.
Among those in attendance were the Honorable Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Gaidam; the Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Gubana; and former Senate President Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan. Also present were Senator Musa Mustapha and Senator Ibrahim Bomai.
The gathering further attracted key party leaders, including the State APC Chairman Muhammad Gadaka, former Minister of Power Abubakar D. Aliyu, and former Secretary to the State Government Baba Malam Wali, alongside members of the National Assembly, State House of Assembly, commissioners, and other stakeholders.
The endorsement process was formally set in motion by Senator Ahmad Lawan and seconded by the Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio, receiving unanimous approval from the stakeholders.
The development is widely seen as a reflection of Gov. Buni’s inclusive leadership style and his sustained efforts in fostering unity and cohesion within the party across Yobe State. It also signals a well-coordinated political front, with stakeholders aligning firmly behind President Tinubu’s administration and reform agenda.
Following the endorsement, party leaders moved into a closed-door session to fine-tune strategies aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and consolidating support ahead of the next general elections.
With this resounding endorsement, Yobe APC, under Gov. Buni’s leadership, has sent a clear and confident message of loyalty, unity, and readiness to sustain continuity under President Tinubu.
