Who Knows Tomorrow?

𝗪𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰?
Tell me
Who has seen it
And returned with receipts of assurance?
Because we plan like time owes us loyalty.
Like the sun signed a contract
To rise because of us.
Like breath is guaranteed.
Like later is not the most dangerous word we know.
𝗪𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰?
Yesterday swore it would stay.
Yesterday said, “I’ll be here.”
But today?
Today is already packing its bags.
We plan futures like we own the clock.
Like time is our employee.
Like death must book an appointment
Before it shows up.
𝗪𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰?
Yesterday was confident too.
Yesterday had dreams folded neatly in its pocket.
Yesterday said, “I’ll do it tomorrow.”
And some tomorrows
Never showed up.
We wake up counting years,
Not knowing minutes are the real currency.
We chase success,
Postpone love,
Delay forgiveness
As if life is a draft
We’ll edit later.
But later is not promised.
Later is a rumour.
Later is hope
Wearing uncertainty’s clothes.
We say, “One day I’ll start.”
One day is not a date on the calendar.
It’s a lie
That sounds truth.
𝗪𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰?
Because tomorrow is a visitor
That doesn’t knock before entering.
And sometimes,
It never knocks at all.
So live like today is the last.
Speak like silence is expensive.
Live while the lights are on.
Love like this moment matters.
Laugh—
Don’t save it for later.
And if your dream keeps you awake at night—
My sister…
Get up.
Because tomorrow is a question.
And today
Is the only answer we have.
Tomorrow might come…
Or it might not.
So make today count.

I honestly can’t help but like it, as if it understood the moment itself.
