WHISPERS FROM THE WOMB

Cheers to the time the earth brought forth a living clay,
Out of the belly of my mother, which has been my home for nine months.
A home with no distress, where I feed without hands, without mouth,
But my body acts as an absorber of everything called food.

There were feet but couldn't be used, unless to kick my mother's womb out of jolly excitement.
I don't know what the earth feels like,
But I always feel at home, nevertheless.
A chord binding me to the warmth of a living soul,
A source of life to me.

And on that day I could hear my cries, so tiny and loud.
I thought it was just a surprise visit to the earth.
Until I stayed a few days, which turned to weeks, and then months.
I found a better home - people to share spaces with,
People to tickle me till I laugh and grasp for breath.

Then I found the woman who kept me and nurtured me in her womb,
With smiles on her face. I saw the man who I later learnt to be my Dada.
Sometimes siblings can be annoying, but all the same,
I found them to be my forever ones.

As I grew, the world unfolded its vibrant tapestry,
A kaleidoscope of colors, sounds, and sensations.
I discovered laughter, tears, and the beauty of connection,
The warmth of love that radiates from every direction.

Mother Earth smiled at me, realizing I'm welcomed to a safer harbor,
A refuge where I can grow, learn, and explore.
A home away from home, where love and acceptance reign,
A family that shelters me, through life's joys and pains.

In this journey, I've found resilience and strength,
A voice that whispers hope, in the darkest of lengths.
And though life's path winds and twists, I'll hold on tight,
To the love that nurtured me, from the very first light.
