Betting on myself and advocating for a internal pivot.
A few years ago, I realized my role was hitting a ceiling, so I started taking on side projects in a different department that genuinely interested me.
When a position opened up there, I did not just apply, I showed them the exact frame of how I Would already been helping them.
It taught me that you do not wait for permission to grow; you just start doing the work.
