Don't ask me how
Not by a common shape
Size or colour
But I tell you we belong together
Where you go, I will follow

Your paths are mine
And your trail I will follow
The things you do
May not interest me
The food you eat
Not my spec

You walk and run
I fly and perch
You till the soil
I birth the babe
you do the chores
I don't do the things you do

Or want me do
Yet we belong together
Like the babe and it's mum
