Do you feel the void?
The one you are about to create in your heart as you kill me
There was not a single tear in her eye
Not a trace of fear in her face
Instead a small smile played on her lips as she anticipated the pain
Blood sputterred from the hole the bullet made in her chest
She touched the spot tentatively, hands trembling
"Nice shot"
She dropped to her knees and smiled again; this time her eyes darkened, vengeance was complete
"MURDERER"

The words hung heavy in the air and screamed into the night; louder than the bang that had come from the gun
He crouched next to her bleeding body, the void in his heart gaping wider and wider MURDERER
And so he took one too, just enough to silent the words and fill the growing void
And so he took a single bullet to his head and laid next to her in death

That's so tragic. May they both find peace in their eternal rest.

This is so heavy but I can definitely see why you'd want to share something like that. Losing someone or feeling so betrayed must be so rough. RIP to both of them.

I'm so sorry for what happened there. That must have been incredibly painful. Sending strength to everyone involved in this dark time.

I can't even process what just happened. The pain must have been so intense.

The poem really hits hard with its darkness and violence. I can see how it must be so emotional to go through something like that, even if it's just a fictional take.

That's an unfortunately intense poem. I can understand why you feel that way, though I hope your experience with the world isn't always so grim. Still, it's a reminder of how dark some cycles are.
