It has taken over time
Time is now its ally
Reminds it when we're least aware
Sharpens its blades and ponder on us
Regrets; our destiny to wail and our bodies clobber
We hate it. We hate its bond with time
Death settled on the short hand of my alarm clock
Corrupted its mind, would wake me up at midnight
Nightmares of all sorts, my clock would smile at the fear
Death is ugly, its face fogy
Takes everyone away, claims their time ended
Only wonder why time is here, this was once our friend
Using its name in times of distaste
Time snitched on us
Time hides behind those dark clouds
Sells us to the demon in mold
Time snitched. It did
Took over time
They're now friends, perfect cling
Obsessed of taking away dreams, maybe time is unaware of the contract it signed
Death struck while we wail in time
The dark magic is ugly
But time, time is a snitch.
