#AfricanChildhoodMemories#Poetry
The sun shines brightly
As I recall the times
Out in the sand
Dancing to the tune of the wind
Laughter the melody of our soul.
To talk of the part
Where the clouds gather
Leaves bowing to let;
The howling wind pass
Then comes the voice of thunder
To sound forth the alarm.
Oh here comes the showers
Raining hope to the playful child
Taking in the fragrance of moist air
Clothes soaked and wet
The merrier, the fun it get.
Friends playing around;
Jumps joyously along.
Nothing but a dream come true
Like there's no tomorrow
Seems the world is at a standstill
Memories of a life created with smiles
O what it takes to be a child
As panic grips the anxious mother.
: By Favoured.

Inspiration: The brightness of the day made me recall the times we used to play in the sand all day under the sun not to talk of the rains,and every moment made under them is a treasure to keep as l take a glimpse of nature in my leisure time.
