In the cradle where the sun first kissed the earth,
Where rivers sing and mountains rise in mirth,
A land of splendor, rich with tales untold,
Africa stands, her chains a burdened hold.

Her chains are forged in centuries of pain,
Colonial shadows cast a long refrain.
But deep within her heart, a spirit fierce,
A force of hope that time cannot disperse.

From Cairo’s sands to Cape Town’s rugged shore,
Her children dream of what she was before.
Before the chains that bind her to the past,
A future bright, untethered, free at last.

I stand, a single voice amid the throng,
With hands outstretched, I join in freedom’s song.
My heart beats with the rhythm of her drums,
A pledge to rise, no matter what may come.

Untangle chains that bind her to despair,
With every act, a testament of care.
From classrooms filled with eager minds alight,
To fields where farmers toil from dawn till night.

In city streets where commerce finds its pace,
And artists paint the colors of her grace.
In courts where justice seeks to right the wrong,
And leaders strive to make her spirit strong.

Each step I take, each effort that I make,
A ripple in the tide of change I stake.
For though I’m small, my part is not in vain,
Together, we’ll unshackle every chain.

The stories of her past we’ll not forget,
But turn the page to chapters brighter yet.
A continent of promise, vast and grand,
Untangle chains, united hand in hand.

For every child who dreams beneath her sky,
Deserves the chance to spread their wings and fly.
To know the beauty of their heritage,
And write their future on a boundless page.

So here I stand, my promise in my heart,
To play my role, to do my humble part.
Untangle Africa’s chain, with strength and grace,
And see her rise, a smile upon her face.

For in her freedom, we all shall find our own,
A world reborn, where peace and love have grown.
Together, we’ll untangle every chain,
And see the dawn of Africa’s bright reign.
