The executive governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, confirmed that the APC has no fear of anything the opposition coalition will not affect the ruling APC and their focus is on the unity of the good people of Nigeria.
He made these remarks on 29th May, 2025, while celebrating his six years in office, where he used the opportunity to confer directly with the good people of the state, traditional rulers, scholars, and representatives of the press at the banquet hall of the Government House Damaturu, Yobe State.
The governor is a one-time national secretary of the APC and a former acting national chairman of the APC. His experience and expertise in political affairs and party leadership have led him now to chair two different committees to smooth things over and expand the welfare of the original members of the APC.
The governor also confirmed that:
"The APC has no fear or reason to fear; we are fully confident that we can smooth things over in the country, and we are committed to ensuring the welfare and unity of the people and the unity of the nation as a whole.” He said
The governor also confirmed that they are the APC and that they have plans to re-establish the party on its feet.
“We are the APC. We are the ruling party, and we are with the party because we are committed to the development of Nigeria. We are confident of the results we are getting now.” Gov. Buni added.
