There is a land in the far east of Keji-kedi called Keji, a very small yet strange land. It harbors different breeds of people, totally different from those of the outside world. To separate itself from being influenced or corrupted by the outside world, they built up a strategy called the Wall of Memories. This wall held all the memories of Keji in one place, and it was from this Wall of Memories that the people of Keji survived.
In the early years, the people of Keji lived peacefully, interacting well with the outside world, and they did this for over a thousand years until a traitor, who had disguised himself as one of them, sold information about them to the outside world, which brought about evil eyes looking upon the Keji land, all seeking that one thing, "The Memory of Ur".
The people of Keji had a way of keeping memories using the Wall of Memories. They had the ability to transfer their memories to the wall of memories and exchange it with that of an ancestor memories but this was only possible with the help of the kejidon stone and only the powerful could gain access to it by meeting the memory keepers . There were five memory keepers, according to the number of stones, and each of them was placed in each tribe to ensure the safety of memories.
The reason why this structure of memory keepers was put in place, with the stone in their possession, was to prevent the people from becoming greedy and wanting to steal the memories of others, thereby causing an imbalance in their world.
In the tribe of Keji-bu, which is the second tribe in Keji, the memory keeper, Don-ti, lived on the outskirts of the land, close to the Wall of Memories. He lived alone, with no family, and he was the last of his lineage. He knew that the baton would have to be passed to another lineage once he died. His lineage was accused of being part of the traitor who sold information about them to the outside world. In the heat of the war, all members of his family were beheaded as punishment. His father only managed to escaped with him but died due an injury he sustained while fighting the monster oji while leaving the kejidon stone in his pocession .
It was after that incident that they built up the structure of memory keepers. Don-ti was only 20 years old when this happened, and after his father died, he let go of everything that showed he was from the Keji-ur tribe so that he wouldn't be killed by using the kejidon stone to transfer his memories while taking the memory of an ancestor of the keji-bu tribe. Don-ti became a memory keeper living with the memory of another man.
Don-ti looked ahead and watched as the people of Keji-bu did their business, all going about their day. But while he was watching, something caught his eye. In the midst of the crowd was a small boy who carried an unfamiliar memory that did not relate to the tribe of Keji-bu.
Yes, as a memory keeper, they had the ability to see the memories of others, which gave them the power to fight traitors should they notice any strange memory in their midst. Don-ti was desperate to find out how the boy got the memory. He checked the Wall of Memories for days, hoping to find a clue, but there was nothing. On the fifth night, Don-ti had a vision. He held his head in pain, screaming as memories rushed in: "Urr... urrrr, remember what they did to us after all we have done for them." The memories of what his father said to him with his last breath kept rushing to his head.
Don-ti woke up the next morning on the floor, after writhing in pain all night. Something in him awakened - a realization of who he was. He knew what he had to do and had to act fast before the memory eluded him again. He quickly set out on a journey to a place he never thought he would go to - the monster Oji. Now that he was certain he had seen what he was looking for, he had to collect it before anyone else did.
He entered the cave where the monster rested, and it arose in anger. For it could only be awakened by noise, and its awakening was one of anger. So, immediately it woke up, Don-ti raised the Kejidon stone to it. At the sight of the stone, Oji calmed down and listened quietly.
Yes, the stone had the power to make even Oji obedient to him. "Get me the boy with the Memory of Ur, and I will make sure no one ever controls you again." The Memory of Ur was a powerful memory that could destroy the whole of Keji should it enter the wrong hands.
It was even more useful than the Kejidon stone and the position of the memory keepers. With the Memory of Ur, one could easily unlock all the secrets and find the hidden things of Keji that would make everyone bow to them in submission.
Don-ti knew for sure that he had to have that memory because with it, he would be able to clear the bad name given to his lineage and also gain the one thing everyone sought but couldn't fight for openly - power.
As Oji flew off into space on the quest to get the boy with the memory, Don-ti whispered slowly, "It's time." And at that very moment, the future flashed before his eyes: chaos, people running, the Wall of Memories breaking down. But one thing stood out more - the Memory of Ur in his hands, with people bowing down to him.
Don-ti smiled mischievously because he knew the time he had been waiting for had arrived.
