When you're empty and depressed
When anxiety builds inside your chest
When nothing's right and all's a mess
When life keeps giving you more tests

When you have nothing left to cry
When all your tears have now run dry
When all alone you sit and sigh
When time does go too fastly by

It is time to open up your eyes
Rain it falls before blue skies
It's time to listen to your heart
A calm will make the storm depart

All your trials and your tests
All your troubles and your fear
Will only teach you that you're blessed
When they begin to disappear

We do not get to choose this life
Nor the troubles that come with
And even through our pain and strife
We can choose to see the gift
