The Gentlemen is a 2024 comedy/crime drama series on Netflix. It is a spinoff of a 2019 film of the same name
The series stars Theo James and Kaya Scoledario as Edward Horniman and Susan Glass - the main protagonists in the story.
The Horniman family is recently bereaved following the death of their patriarch . The subsequent reading of the will reveals that the inheritance has been given to Edward, the second son rather than his senior brother Frederick. In addition, Edward is informed of certain 'business operations' on the estate.
Edward's attempts to 'encourage' a movement of the business from his estates and the actions of several vested interests leads to a series of unfortunate events that sees Edward sinking further into the quagmire he was attempting to extricate himself and his family from.
