A balmy day it was when Deceit hid the coats
No one saw, no one heard
The screams, trimming through the trees
Lured by allure while aroma beckons
They went, sneering at the insight of the wise
She was camouflage in innocence
Masking the scent of her truth
It came as no surprise
When the silence paid obeisance to the air
Scant seconds after they left the path.
