Strange
The world has lost its hue
Even the rainbow
It's colours have faded.
The bat now dreads the night
And even owls embrace the light of day.
The sky has lost its glimmer
For the sun dreads the deeds of men to rise
And the moon, is ridiculed by the deeds of the night.
Heavy clouds in black gathers in council
Like a parliament of owls
Those old witches of ancient times
They drift in hurried speed across the land
But never a drop shed in rains
To mourn these mortals depraved.
Strange!
Strangers things be the tales from afar
Far beyond yonder
Where the sky kisses the earth
The kiss of death on the horizon
That far corner where the world ends only to continue
There I long for far removed from these mortal company
Strange.
As I wonder and behold
Lost in fearful avoidant attachment for my woes
A man appears amidst the mist
Yes amidst the mist of my vanities,
And in a still quiet voice, I heard Him my name call
And He said; son, all these thy vagrancies for what?
Strange!
Yes strange but stranger still is this than tales from afar.
Strange...
May the coming year bring us better tales and may we live better stories that we mortals may be humans in Yah's image.
Aa blissful New Year in anticipation.
