Stars Don't Walk on Sands

Stars don't walk on sands,
they roam in the skies.
They love freedom;
they aren't trapped in clay.
Sometimes, they pretend to be human,
but only for a while.
Sooner than soon, they release their wings,
follow the wind,
and rest in the celestial.

Somewhere here,
a mother weeps,
a father mourns,
a child departs.
She was tender,
a young leaf falling from a branch.
Leaves are beautiful,
but some beauty fades,
like a candle in the wind.

I see this beauty fade softly into the sky.
She fought strongly.
She was a spark in a dim-lit room.
Now her little light is enhanced
by the joy in heaven.
I hear the echoes of her joyful noise.
A tear drops from my eye—
I remember everything she was.

The stars' freedom reminds me of something bigger than us, while the leaves capture that fleeting beauty. Both bring their moments, just like life here on Earth.

Definitely... Something is bigger than us. And beauty is ephemeral. Thank you for your kind words

Understanding the emotions in this poem is beautiful. The imagery of stars and leaves captures a sense of both freedom and the fleeting nature of life. It's a poetic tribute to what's lost but also hopeful for renewal.
