So this is life?
A life that our mothers went through pain to bear.
Nine months, not nine days nor nine hours of heavy load,
To bring thee into this world, with all its pains and woes.
The struggles, the strife, the endless toil,
The moments of doubt, the tears, that boils
Of sorrow, anguish, and hurt.
The weight of responsibility, the stress, the fray,
Is this really all there is to life's grand play?
I think of all the dreams, the hopes, the fears,
The sleepless nights, the endless tears,
The sacrifices made, the love that's true,
And I wonder, is this really all there is to do?
So this is life?
A life of ups and downs, of highs and lows,
A life of love, of loss, of joy, of woe,
A life that's full of wonder, fragile and fleeting.
But then I see the beauty, the love, the light,
The kindness, the compassion, the warm embrace of night,
The laughter, the smiles, the memories we hold dear,
And I realize, this is life, and it's precious, and it's clear.
Through every storm, find a way,
Through every night, face the day,
Hold on to courage, to strength, to hope,
And never give up, no matter the start.
For life is a gift, a treasure so rare,
A chance to experience, to learn, to grow, to love,
To make a difference, to leave a mark,
To shine our light, to illuminate in the dark.
For life is a journey, a path we must choose,
A chance to discover, to explore, to muse,
To find our purpose, our passion, our spark,
And to live a life that's true and real.
So let's make the most of this life we live,
To cherish every moment, every breath we breathe,
To hold on to love, to hope, to faith,
And make this life a masterpiece, a work of art, a beautiful space.
FOR THIS IS LIFE…..
AND WE’RE HERE TO STAY..
