In the tapestry of life, we bear our scars,
Each mark tells a story of our battles won,
Like etchings of victories eternally ours,
Testimonies of battles fought and done.

As storms of 2023 raged fierce and wild,
Challenges and hardships tested our might,
Yet through the darkness, God gently smiled,
Guiding us through the never-ending night.

Deals were taken, trust was broken, hearts scarred,
But God intervened, His grace restored the lost,
Revealing deep secrets, loyalty and disloyalty marred,
Yet in His wisdom, He revealed the ultimate cost.

So as we stand on the cusp of a new year,
We place 2024, with all its unknown lands,
In the hands of God, devoid of fear,
Trusting in His mercy, as He intricately plans.

For every scar, a testament we wear,
Of battles fought, of victories divine,
In God's grace, we find our solace and care,
For in His hands, our scars eternally shine.
