... Providing good 178 rural access roads under the 17 LGAs of Yobe State means transformation in the economy and poverty reduction.
.
.
The Executive Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, continues his efforts to revitalise and transform the rural areas by building new access roads (asphalt) to boost the economy, provide quality and access to health and good education, and create a sound management system.

Governor Buni has pledged to create unity between the rural and urban areas of Yobe State by providing high-speed and historical roads to revitalise traffic and facilitate access to and from the rural areas for the integration of daily transactions in trade, agriculture, education and livestock.

The fact that effective and efficient interaction between rural and urban areas will restore economic prestige, increase business activities, create jobs and facilitate medical and educational services among the people has led Governor Buni to take positive and effective steps to revive the relationship between trade, agriculture and livestock, also known as (Fatauci), in recent years by providing 178 access roads that will facilitate transportation and trade to ensure that the state achieves economic growth in every quarter.

Providing the construction of 178 roads and modernising the agricultural sector will restore the economic prestige of the state and solve all the challenges that are hindering business activities and the development of rural and urban communities and provide them with sufficient opportunities to enjoy a sound health and education system that the state is leading following the enthusiasm and efforts of the governor to revive it since his first term.

The governor has pledged to construct 178 roads across the state by the end of 2024, which he prioritised in the 2025 budget titled ___"Budget of Economic Consolidation and Poverty Reduction".

The construction of these roads will ensure the rapid implementation of the budget theme, which is why the state has, in a short period of time, begun to achieve a significant portion of the budget for the construction of quality roads that will connect rural and urban areas of the state, since the one-third target of 2025 has not been achieved.

The photo attached below provides a detailed description of how the road works are progressing at a fast pace and efficiently to ensure the commitment of Governor Buni under the Yobe State Ministry of Works.
