Ugh!
I'm back in my abode from where I had toured pleasant places in Nigeria, many of which I never knew existed.
Why Nigeria?
The prompt was about Africa but I chose to settle for Nigeria. As the saying goes, " Charity begins at home", so I thought to tour my home, Nigeria, which remain inadequately unexplored despite its popularity among the West African Nations.
I started off without the intention to place the spotlight on Nigeria but when I began the journey, I noticed there were so many noteworthy places I did not know about in my own country. So I decided to push forward the beauties of the Nigerian Nation.
I made great efforts to cover different geopolitical zones in Nigeria and the discoveries about these places were enthralling.
Challenges
One of the most challenging things about this exploration is having to report daily and composing captivating content and captions. I was the nocturnal writer and there were times I fought sleep to achieve this feat. It was an interesting journey so I didn't wish to miss a step.
Many Nigerians do not appreciate the culture, values and artworks of Nigeria but rather leave them to foreigners who refine them and then sell our creativity back to us. Speak of the number of youths migrating to other nations with their talents and skills.
Prospects
There is so much about the Nigerian Nation that many Nigerians do not know. There are lines of businesses that can be explored and used to boost the country's economy if Nigerians learn to look inward. Rather than embrace foreign products, attention should be given to locally made produts.
