When I reminisce my childhood,
Now I'm grown up
How naive I was in my neighborhood
With friends which I grew up
With no resemblance of parenthood
But whenever I look up
He tells me my future is so good
Encourages me to cheer up

When I recall my childhood
Now I'm fully grown up
How I kicked round game in my neighborhood
With buddies which I grew up
All my pals were very good
I was cheered and lifted up
I walked home a champion and felt good
A winner still even now that I'm grown up
