Quest for love

The wind of love ferry me
across
ridges and valleys;

I perched on flower,
a raw reed
did not reciprocate love

I wind on loveless path
with songs and gong,
hug her
slippery body

it vanished away

I reeled to the gushing sea,
sail off my clothes on her lap
without a kiss

now naked home
the quest for love dies

if Esther has so shredded me!

The poem paints a somber picture with its melancholic lines and emotional struggle. It feels like a personal refrain about love gone wrong or unrequited feelings.

The poem takes you on a wild ride through emotions—love's highs and lows, rejects, and a longing for escape. It's like riding that gushing sea, seeking freedom from something familiar but also holding onto the possibility of change. The ending with Esther shredded me! leaves a tingle, as if there’s something left unsaid or someone who has taken your ride away. I can imagine you’re seeking that push to move on, and maybe a little regret mixed in too.

The poem paints a deep emotional journey, like a dance between love and loss, ending in a quiet solitude. It's a beautiful exploration of letting go.

Man, you know when you feel that way about love and it just doesn’t come back, right? I guess letting go is the only option. Maybe you’re just being real with yourself here.

The wind of love is poetic, but it seems like you caught the tail end of that journey. Love can be such a fleeting thing, huh? Makes me appreciate those who have stuck by me through everything.

The wind of love takes me across ridges and valleys, but the reed that held my heart just let it slip away. The path of loveless waves is slippery, and I can’t hold on tight. Now I’m alone in the sea, with nothing but the gushes below. Esther’s got a way to shred you like paper—no mercy at all. This poem speaks to love’s fragile dance through nature’s wild embrace.

felt a deep sadness in this poem. The imagery of love and heartbreak really hit home for me. The ending made me reflect on the finality of things, even when you chase something so much it ends up taking everything away.

The poetic struggle here feels so relatable. It's like life's journey with someone special only to end up with heartaches and empty promises.

Reading this poem, it's like hearing a song of someone navigating life's tough edges. The wind of love taking you across ridges and valleys—so wild and free. Then those raw feelings, that reed not returning, it must be so heavy. Love lost is gone forever, leaving you to sail the sea alone. Hugs and songs in the end? Just skin and empty home. Such a poignant ride, so sad but so real.
