The Potiskum Local Government's New Look as Governor Buni confirmed his campaign promises and the status of the local government area as a business and agricultural hub of Yobe State.
The good efforts made by Governor Buni to strengthen the business sector in the local government area towards a trade system that will create a good business competition system and improve the value of the markets and industry in Potiskum Local Government Area include
1. The creation of a modern and well-functioning market (Potiskum Modern Market) with an international market structure that will greatly impact the economic growth and financial stability, create jobs, and improve the lives of businesspeople in Potiskum Local Government Area.
2. The creation of a large and well-designed trailer park that will greatly help in the growth and development of transportation, and it contains modern technology that makes it the largest one in Africa.
The fact that Potiskum Local Government Area has the potential to generate large-scale truck traffic the creation of a large trailer park will improve the economy and generate income for the good people of Potiskum Local Government Area and Yobe State as a whole.
3. Mechanical garage with a modern and highly effective means of generating employment, promoting the mechanical industry, and ensuring the well-being of the residents of Potiskum Local Government Area, providing the people of the state with an efficient transport system, increasing income sources, and improving the well-being of the community.
4. A sesame processing plant, which will also create a rich trading system following the modern system of assessing and refining the sesame it has, is a goal that will bring about changes in the sesame business integration sector that will affect them in giving investors full access and stability to enter into business relationships with Potiskum LGA and Yobe State.
5. The model, mega, and girls' day secondary schools that have developed a modern management system with full facilities that will contribute to the improvement of education and its modernization.
The system also removed the gap that had contributed to the suppression of girls' education in the local government, which now gives girls full access to education in their parents' homes in the new schools that Governor Buni has established.
Governor Buni has played a significant role in ensuring the well-being of the residents of Potiskum Local Government Area and gathering intelligence to develop the management of Potiskum LGA.
