Ponder to wonder

It is another day to ponder and question myself about how I have spent my true self. The picture of Jesus in Gethsemane is not just a pictorial edifice for me to glance at; rather, it's a reflective devotion sprinkled in my mind above. He offered Himself for our sake, yet I humiliated Him through my character. And I wonder, how can I align my actions with His love? Maybe it's about surrendering more, letting go of things that pull me away, and trying to love like He did.
In the quiet moments, when it's just me and my thoughts, I'd like to hold onto that devotion, let it shape me, slowly. Like the weight of that cross, I'd like to carry it gently and find strength in the sacrifice. In my weaknesses, may His love be the anchor; in my shortcomings, a reminder to rise, to love more, to give more.
