One Day is a Netflix series starring Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall as Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew.
It chronicles the story of Dexter and Emma’s first meeting at their school graduation party that blossoms into a 20 year friendship.
Emma spends several years trying to succeed as a writer while Dexter crashes through life trying different things while battling alcohol addiction.
Their story follows several life turns, relationships, loss and so on until they both stop running from the truth that they are meant to be together.
Unfortunately, unimaginable tragedy strikes robbing them of their beautiful ever after.
This beautiful series teaches us that life has no guarantees and that we keep putting in and doing our best. But, with family, friendship, hope, love and trust helping us along the way, we can each make something reasonable out of life
