Non-Stop Journey of life

The darkness of the black road concealed my fear,
Then I knew I had to mend my tear.
I realized the endless journey is forever,
So I braced myself to be clever.

I cried and whispered to myself, "Whatever,
I will be successful in my endeavor."
Up the slope, in a world of obstacles,
I vowed to bring forth my book or article.

Then I knew it was best to fasten with a buckle,
To secure my resolve, like a shield to hurdle.
But I thought, perhaps I should consult an oracle,
Yet I refused to fill my journey with miracles.

I saw the slope of unending height,
My soul became acquainted with fright.
But then I felt a sensation of delight,
When the people on this moving journey with me were people to cite.

Even if I badly wished to alight,
I realized it's far gone – a non-stop journey in sight.
It's a path that unwinds, with no pause or rest,
A continuous quest, where every step is blessed.
