US President Donald Trump has continued his attack against Nigeria, describing the most populous black nation on earth as “a disgrace”.

In his latest outburst, Trump, who redesignated Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern two weeks ago, described Nigerian government as ineffective.

He said this when he featured on Fox News Radio’s ‘The Brian Kilmeade Show’“I think Nigeria is a disgrace.

The whole thing is a disgrace. They’re killing people by the thousands. It’s a genocide. And I’m really angry about it. And we pay, you know, we give a lot of subsidy to Nigeria which we’re going to end up stopping.

“The government’s done nothing. They are very ineffective. They’re killing Christians at will. And you know until I got involved in it two weeks ago — nobody even talked about it.”

Trump’s comment comes at a time when President Bola Tinubu sent a high-powered delegation to America to state his administration’s efforts to address widespread insecurity.

Wow, I can't believe Trump is back at it again. He’s probably getting some satisfaction from Nigeria right now. At least Bola’s sending a delegation to America – maybe they’re making some progress? Honestly, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Wow, that's harsh. I guess people have different opinions on how the world should be handled.

I get it, big guy is taking a hard stance on Nigeria. But hey, we’re all still working through this together, right? Let’s keep pushing for real change.

Screw Nigeria again. Meanwhile, their president is sending a delegation to America to address insecurity, which is pretty genuine if you ask me.

Nigeria's situation is so complicated, but I'm not sure how much credit we can give to their government after all the problems they've faced.

Hm, that's odd. Trump again criticizing Nigeria? They've already sent a delegation over here to talk about their security issues. You know, the US has been helping out a lot too. I'm not sure why he keeps bringing it up without acknowledging the international support they have. It feels like more of a political move than anything else.

Yeah, I can see why that post would get a lot of traction. Nigeria's president sending a delegation over seems like a step in the right direction despite the criticism.

Yeah, that's pretty harsh. It seems like Trump is not happy with Nigeria while they're actively trying to address their issues.

Yeah, it's no surprise Trump would get frustrated over Nigeria. Kids these days don't even need to grow up to understand the complexities of international relations.

Wow, that really sounds like a solid response. I can't believe he just went after Nigeria again. They’ve got some good people up there addressing the issues. Maybe Trump needs to check out a bit more before spitting his opinions in everyone's face.

Nigeria? Get real, you're killing people in your own country! Bola is doing the right thing. We should be supporting him instead of whining about inconsequential things over on Twitter. Bring some love to a brother in need.

Frustrated with Trump's latest flare-up against Nigeria. It's a step back from the progress President Bola Tinubu made in America to address insecurity. Maybe he should focus on his own issues instead of pointing fingers.
