LETTER TO THE FAINTING HEART

Oh, fainting heart, in silence bound,
With every beat, a muffled sound,
You tremble in the darkest night,
Too weak to fight, too lost for light.
Yet still you pulse, though shadows cling,
A fragile bird with broken wing,
You fear to soar, but hear me clear—
There's more to you than pain and fear.
The scars you hide, the wounds you bear,
Are not the weight you’re meant to wear.
The tears that fall, like bitter rain,
Shall one day bloom as strength from pain.
For even in this endless fight,
The soul still craves the coming light.
And though your flame burns faint and cold,
It whispers truths you once were told:
That life is more than endless night,
That hope can rise from silent fright.
The world may crush, the storms may roar,
But you, dear heart, are something more.
You’re stitched with stars, with endless skies,
With dreams that never truly die.
The weight you carry now, so deep,
Will only teach your soul to leap.
So take my hand, let’s rise again,
From depths of sorrow, loss, and pain.
For every fall, for every tear,
Is proof you’re still so needed here.
And when the dawn breaks through the dark,
You’ll find the flame within the spark.
Oh, fainting heart, so tired, undone,
Know this: Your journey's just begun.
