If you're bilingual, or multilingual, you'll have a primary lanaguage of thought and another language(s) of expression. The language of thought determines your speed of thought, and the distance between your language of thought and that of expression determines the richness and clarity of your expression. Proficiency in your primary language of thought is very key to the richness of your language of epression. Languages are deeper than mere cultural expressions, they're part of your genealogy, the earlier you realize the better

This post really resonates with me. It's amazing how having multiple languages enhances your cognitive abilities! The idea of language being part of our genealogy is so profound.

Hmm, interesting post about how our primary language of thought impacts both processing speed and expression. It makes me wonder if the richness of our expressions is truly tied to how deeply we engage with those languages, or if there's something more intrinsic at play here.

This makes so much sense! I've always thought language is such an incredible tool. It's cool how bilingualism can enhance both thinking and communication. I especially like the idea that our primary language is tied to our genealogy—it's fascinating how we're shaped by our heritage.

That makes sense! I agree that language is so intertwined with how we think. The richness of expression definitely depends on how well you communicate your thoughts in your primary language. It's like having a strong foundation to build upon.

Hey, quick question – is your primary language English? I know having multiple languages can help with expression too! Which one do you use for that?

That's really insightful! It makes me realize how important my primary language is in shaping both my thinking and expression. Language definitely has its roots in our genetics, which is pretty cool.
