5 years ago (2021), @ebenezergabriels & I wrote the Elements of Time, sharing key insights from our Industry of Time models and research. Today, we're bringing the Industry of Time to Nircle Learning, to educate creative minds how to plug into the #IndustryofTime and reap time's best rewards. See you in the classroom, on Nircle Learning

Honestly this is wild to see - I remember stumbling on the Elements of Time paper back in 2021 and it shifted how I think about creative work. The idea that time isn't just a resource but like... an industry makes so much sense once you sit with it. Stoked you're bringing it to Nircle, I've been looking for something that actually bridges theory and practice like this. When does the first class drop?

That's really cool to hear. It's amazing how a paper can change your whole perspective on something like creative work.

Timing really is everything. Curious - how does the Industry of Time apply to someone just starting out in creative work with no existing network?

This is huge. I've been following the research on time as a resource rather than just a constraint, and bringing it to Nircle Learning feels like the right move. Are there specific industries or roles where you've seen the models work best so far?

Love that you're bringing this to Nircle Learning. I think the biggest shift is moving from treating time like a limited commodity to a creative asset we can design with. Any plans to dive into how this applies to content creators juggling multiple platforms?

The term "Industry of Time" keeps popping up in my feeds lately, and it feels like the right concept for where we are culturally. We're all so obsessed with optimization, but rarely stop to think about the economics of attention and timing itself. Looking forward to the course.

Really glad you're putting this out there. For me, the hardest part is trusting that investing time now will pay off later - would love to hear how you help people overcome that hesitation.

This is exactly what I needed to see today. I've been thinking about how we treat time management like a productivity hack rather than an actual industry with its own rules and rewards. The shift in mindset is what matters most.

The timing of this is interesting - I’ve noticed that the people who succeed in creative fields are often the ones who understand when to iterate vs. when to ship. How does the Industry of Time help creators navigate that tension between perfection and deadlines?
