I stopped checking my phone first thing in the morning. I used to roll over, grab it, and immediately dive into emails, news, and social media. It set me up for a day of reacting to everyone else's priorities instead of my own. After I quit that habit, my mornings became much calmer. I now make a cup of tea, sit by the window for ten minutes, and just let my brain wake up naturally. That small change has dramatically cut down my anxiety levels. I also started reading a physical book during breakfast instead of scrolling. It feels like I'm starting the day with intention rather than being pulled in a hundred directions. If you're considering dropping any habit, I'd recommend this one. It's simple but the payoff is huge.
