The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, provided additional support of team materials worth millions of naira to the ongoing NIPDs vaccination campaign in Potiskum LGA.
The chairman provided the support in his effort to strengthen the activities of the National Immunization Program Desk's (NIPD) vaccination campaign in Potiskum Local Government Area.
The chairman also committed to ensuring the quality of health services and strengthening the health workers of the local government in his effort to ensure the commitment of the Yobe State government under the leadership of His Excellency the Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN.
"Anyone who comes to your town to help your people in any way must have done their job, so I would like to thank the organizations that are providing the necessary support to improve health services in this local government.
"Health is what is called the mother of the body, and it is the only thing people of the world benefit from by living in peace and tranquility. It is through a good health management system that we believe everyone will be healthy." Said Hon. Salisu Muktari
He also reaffirmed that his door is open to ensure the well-being of the residents of Potiskum Local Government in the health sector and expressed his satisfaction with the health programs that include vaccinations that are carried out every month.
"Our door is open at all times to help the health sector, and we are satisfied with the role that health workers are playing in ensuring that our people are supported. Thanks to your commitment, Potiskum Local Government achieved the success of vaccinating more than 300,398 children under the age of 5 last month.
"Your commitment will bring us closer to where we are confident, and we have confidence that by the end of this month we will achieve 0% tolerance for children under 5 years old in this vaccination." He added
