Hon. Salisu Muktari Hosts Gov. Buni’s Special Adviser on Local Govt, Commends Buni's Youth Inclusion Policy

The Executive Chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, hosts the Adviser to Governor Mai Mala Buni on Local Government Affairs, Hon. Muhammad Bukar Abba Ibrahim, during a familiarization visit to the council.
The meeting, held at the Council Chamber of Potiskum Secretariat, focused on key developmental issues and strengthening collaboration between the state and local government systems.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Muhammad Bukar Abba Ibrahim praised Gov. Buni’s youth inclusion policy, describing himself as a direct beneficiary of the initiative.
“Although I am here on a familiarization visit, I must commend His Excellency Gov. Buni for his commitment to youth inclusion. I am personally a beneficiary of this policy, which has given many young people a voice in governance,” he said.
Representing the Chairman, Hon. Ado Hamza Ngojin appreciated the adviser for his dedication and efforts in engaging local governments across Yobe State to enhance service delivery.
He reaffirmed Potiskum’s strong support for Gov. Buni’s administration, citing the visible impact of projects executed within the local government.
“We commend your efforts in visiting local governments to strengthen your office; we remain fully supportive of His Excellency’s vision. If we are asked where the governor belongs, we will proudly say Potiskum, considering the numerous developmental projects delivered here,” he stated.
He further highlighted the transformation of Ngojin, noting that the area, which lacked a proper access road for years, has now been connected through a modern road network linking it to the town bypass.
“Ngojin, a community with deep historical significance, had no proper road for decades. Today, it is accessible through a well-constructed road from the bypass; this is a legacy that will stand the test of time,” he added.
The visit reflects the continued commitment of the Buni administration to inclusive governance and grassroots development across Yobe State.
