Hon. Salisu Muktari commends Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai’s women empowerment initiative, describing it as life-changing support

The executive chairman of the Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has commended Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, representing Yobe South, for his recent initiative to empower women with business capital.

Hon. Salisu Muktari described the initiative as a life-changing support that will uplift families and strengthen the role of women in business and society.

“I want to commend Senator Ibrahim Bomai for his commitment to supporting our mothers with capital to either develop or start their own businesses. This initiative will further improve their lives and serve as a role model for empowering women in business,” he said.

As part of the empowerment, Senator Bomai gave the women an investment of one million naira each, aimed at supporting their businesses and easing financial constraints. The chairman urged the beneficiaries to use the funds to improve their families and communities.

This is not the first time the Senator has been supporting his constituents with capital; Senator Bomai has previously provided financial assistance to youth and social media writers, giving them millions of naira to improve their livelihoods.

Senator Bomai is committed to ensuring that the fruits of democracy are realized through pro-people policies and sustainable development projects across Yobe South State and beyond.
