Hon. Salisu Muktari Commends Gov. Buni for Launching Second Phase of Yobe Farmer's Empowerment Program

The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, commended the executive governor of Yobe State, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, for launching the second phase of the Farmer's Empowerment program in Yobe.
The chairman commended the governor and expressed his confidence in the state government's plans for reforms that will improve the lives of the people of Yobe State and provide them with adequate and quality food.
"The Yobe State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN has certainly come up with a plan to improve and develop the agricultural sector, which will play a vital role in improving the lives of our people.
"This second phase of empowerment has come at a time when our people, especially farmers, need it. It also shows the consistency of the system that this government has and its effectiveness in improving the lives of its people." Said Hon. Salisu Muktari
The Chairman also called for improving the systems and ensuring that the people of the state who have benefited from the scheme use it in the right way.
"I call on our communities who have benefited from this effective agricultural empowerment scheme to do what is right and use it to improve their lives and that of our people and ensure the commitment of Governor Buni to fight food insecurity and provide employment to the people of the state."
