This powerful film, based on a true story, follows a slave who escapes oppression on a Georgia plantation to find her voice and discover that her emancipation was declared long ago—something she and others at plantation were unaware of.

Ignorance can really cause a lot of damage, but i am really thrilled that she got her revenge against her oppressor.
I'll highly recommend this move and will rate it a 10/10.
