The executive governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, announced his government’s commitment to boost security and agriculture and prioritise infrastructural projects to improve the lives of the good people of Yobe State in the future.
The governor confirmed this while celebrating the Muslim community in Yobe State on the occasion of Eid Mubarak today, Friday, 6th June, 2025.
A message issued by DG Press Mamman Mohammed on behalf of the Honourable Governor to congratulate the Muslim community in Yobe State on the occasion of Eid'l Fitr affirmed that the state government is ready and is intensifying efforts to bring about changes that will be in line with the times to beautify the Yobe State capital.
He also called on the good people to use this opportunity and include Yobe State in their prayers and call on them to use the importance for sacrifice, support, love and to ensure unity regardless of political, religious, or cultural differences.
The governor also called on farmers to be more determined to use this year’s rainy season to cultivate crops that are highly productive to boost the economy and provide employment to the state.
The governor pledged to prioritise agriculture, health, and education.
