The executive governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, has filled the economic gap and boosted the profile of businesses in Gashua Local Government Area of the state following the construction of a new modern market that has the potential to create jobs.
The governor completed the market and handed it over to traders for business development and revenue generation for the local government, the state, and the federal government.
Gashua Local Government Area is among the local government areas with the highest potential for business development, which is seen as the second largest local government area after Potiskum Local Government Area, which is considered the commercial hub of the state.
Following the construction of the modern market, the Yobe State Governor H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, reaffirmed the dream of the traders to modernize their businesses and encourage the interest of the public to establish business relationships with other states.
The provision of this market has created jobs for thousands of people in Yobe State and its environs, where traders, transporters, and laborers are now conducting business in peace and security.
