in shrouded gloom a lone rose grow
enchanting, psychedelic and sacral
with soft buds cloaked in dark paw

not obvious to the eyes of anthophiles;
its golden value draped in haze
lie waste, oozes ambrosial fragrance

into the blind dark of withdrawal;
her glow dim still, she lost sentience
of belonging; when sprouted on soil

of dark heritage, a woman grow spineless,
her laurels hide in mousy body suit ;
alluring flower grown in dark ambience

away from sun light lacks the caress
of noon breeze's hearty love song
of birds seeking flower to fertilize

sprout your flower on humus soil, set
to sun light, let zephyr fondle her;
birds and butterflies will roost!
