Federal Government Approves N23.4 Billion for Repair and Rehabilitation of Dilapidated Roads in Yobe Following Gov. Buni’s Assurance

The Federal Government under the leadership of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has approved N23.4 billion for the rehabilitation of dilapidated federal roads in Yobe following the assurance given to the people of the state by Gov. Buni.
The Yobe State Governor H.E Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, has announced and assured that the completion of the rehabilitation of dilapidated federal roads across Yobe State is going to Approve as soon as possible.
He also assured that the President is fully prepared to ensure that quality road works are provided to improve the management and ease of transportation across the state on 29th July, 2025, during the flag-off of the Mega Agricultural Empowerment program in Damaturu.
Incidentally, yesterday, the 31st of July, 2025, a statement was received from the Federal Government under the Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, approving a sum of N23.4 billion for the federal roads reconstruction and rehabilitation across Yobe State.
This shows the commitment of the Hon. Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN to follow up with the federal government to ensure that the federal government has taken care of the areas it is responsible for implementing its projects that will improve the lives of the good people of the state.
This is also an indication that the good relationship between the president and the state governments is playing a vital role in the revival of development projects in different parts of Nigeria.
Gov. Buni has shown his leadership skills by strengthening the relationship between the state and the federal government to provide development projects.
