The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, supported Potiskum local government area vigilantes and hunters with 100kg bags of rice.
The chairman provided their offices with 100kg bags of rice in his intention of encouraging them and giving his immense contribution to the upcoming Sallah celebrations that will take place tomorrow, 6th June, 2025, as usual.
The chairman assured the security agencies of his full support to ensure that they carry out their duties in a safe, secure, and comfortable manner while providing them with full support from the various agencies and security forces under the local government.
Garba Umar, the vigilante officer in Potiskum Local Government Area, confirmed that;
"We are grateful to Hon. Salisu Muktari for standing up for our dignity, encouraging us to carry out our duties, and providing us with the means to carry out our duties.
"The chairman has certainly played a significant role in improving our work in this local government area. As the chairman of the local government area, he is very keen to see that the vision of the Honorable Governor to ensure security for the property and life of the people is fulfilled.
"This rice donation that he gave us is a source of joy and happiness, and it shows that he still holds us in trust." He Said
