As Muslims mark the end of Ramadan, Hon. Salisu Muktari has issued a compelling Eid’l Fitr message to the people of Potiskum, calling for a renewed commitment to unity, faith, and community-driven progress.
In his Sallah goodwill message, Hon. Muktari congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the holy month, describing Ramadan as a sacred period that has strengthened spiritual consciousness, discipline, and compassion among the faithful.
He stressed that Eid is not merely a celebration but a defining moment to translate the virtues of sacrifice, patience, and generosity into everyday life for the betterment of society.
“The true essence of Eid lies in sustaining the spirit of Ramadan—living in peace, supporting one another, and working together for the common good of our community,” he stated.
Hon. Muktari urged residents to deepen the bonds of brotherhood, uphold tolerance, and reject all forms of division, emphasizing that lasting development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect.
He also offered heartfelt prayers for continued peace, stability, and prosperity across Yobe State, expressing confidence in the strength and resilience of the people.
