Eid-el-Maulud: Hon. Salisu Muktari Greets Muslim Faithful, Urges Unity and Commitment to Progress

The Executive Chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Potiskum and Yobe State at large on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
He also described the celebration as a unique opportunity for reflection on the values of peace, humility, tolerance, and compassion, which the Prophet (SAW) lived and preached.
He said the life of the Prophet remains a guiding light for humanity and a call to service, justice, and mutual respect.
The chairman urged the Muslim community and indeed all citizens of Yobe State to continue to uphold the spirit of unity, harmony, and brotherhood, stressing that such values are essential in sustaining the peace and developmental progress achieved under the leadership of Gov. Mai Mala Buni.
“As we mark Eid-el-Maulud, I call on us all to emulate the Prophet’s virtues of patience, kindness, and unity. Together, we can consolidate the peace and progress of our communities and state,” he said.
Hon. Salisu Muktari prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the state and the nation, wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
