As it is, today, June 12, is the day that is celebrated as Democracy Day across Nigeria, the day that the Nigerian people are proud to begin their democratic rule under the people based on the popular will, which they see as having transformed various aspects of their lives.
The impact of six years of Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai as the senator representing the southern part of Yobe State has strengthened democracy and revived the dreams of the good people of Potiskum, Nangere, Fika, and Fune with the return of the prestige of education, agriculture, access to good roads, and improvement of livestock.
During his six years as a representative of these local government areas in the National Assembly, he has been committed to the construction of modern roads with good connectivity to revitalize the economy of the region, strengthen business and agriculture, and provide water supply to prevent floods that have plagued the local government areas.
Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai has strengthened his representation by providing primary hospitals and ambulances to transport patients, strengthening the health sector, and providing a favorable environment where the community will greatly benefit from a better health system in the four local government areas of the region.
Also in education, Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai has provided a sound system by providing domestic scholarships and international scholarships to study abroad to the children of poor people.
That's to strengthen education and provide the good people of these four local government areas with a sound system and sustainable solutions.
Providing self-reliance and vocational training to the youth by providing them with start-up capital and tools Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai is committed to improving the lives of the youth by providing them with a sound system of self-reliance.
Many youths have benefited from his youth investment; some have been taught handicrafts and have been provided with professional equipment and training in the field, which has given them certificates of expertise in the field in which they have received training in various trades.
Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai has become a hero in the history of democracy in southern Yobe State because he has provided electricity and safe drinking water to the people in the rural areas.
