Governor Buni has committed to the Damaturu City Redevelopment Project, a plan that will strengthen Yobe State and improve its economic growth.
Yobe State is an old state with influence in many areas that needs to bring its influence to the state capital to promote the state’s resources and create awareness among tourists, which will play a vital role in attracting investors.
The capital development project that the current Yobe State Governor H.E. Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN has committed to undertake includes the construction of a major flyover and underpass bridge, namely the Yobe First ___ Flyover and Underpass Bridge, as well as the renovation of the old roundabouts that were only for decoration and beauty before.
Governor Buni has chosen to use the transformation of the roundabouts in Damaturu to showcase the history, culture, and economy of Yobe State, which will have an impact on attracting visitors to invest in the various resources of Yobe State.
The capital of every state is a symbol of the wealth and prosperity of the state, and Governor Buni’s decision to transform the economic landscape into a roundabout in Damaturu will provide an opportunity for investors to know and visit the natural resources of the state.
Yobe State also has the potential to attract tourists to its tourist attractions and various attractions, which will help boost the economy; hence, the decision to design the Dufuna Canoe map for one of the roundabouts in Damaturu will be effective.
The display of such resources will encourage visitors to open their eyes and attract investors to access the natural resources and promote national and international trade.
