The Dogo Tebo Councillor in Potiskum LGA, Hon. Mohammed Musa Abba, distributes fertilizer, seeds, and more to the farmers and community of his ward as part of___ "Buni Phase II Agricultural Empowerment Program" as instructed by the Executive Chairman of Potiskum LGA, Hon. Salisu Muktari.
This is in line with the directives of the executive Chairman as he has given order to ensure that the support/empowerment reaches the farmers across the 10 wards of local government area to ensure the commitment of the Yobe State Government under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN.
The chairman directed the councillors to work hard to reach the farmers in their areas and to form a special committee to monitor and ensure that the empowerment materials reach the farmers in accordance with H.E. Gov. Buni's directives in each district.
"Make sure you deliver the message of agricultural products that the esteemed governor has given to your community farmers; we are giving it to you as representatives of the community from the 10 wards of this Local Government Area.
"Then we will not just sit and watch; we must create a system that will follow you to ensure that you deliver the message given to you because our goal is to improve the agricultural sector as instructed by the esteemed governor." Hon. Salisu Muktari to 10 Ward Councillors of Potiskum LGA.
